Hot Honey Roasted Carrots

These hot honey roasted carrots are a sweet and savory side dish with a slight kick.

- 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 lb Carrots
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
- 2 1/2 Tbsp Hot Honey
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Prepping
Preheat oven to 360° F.
Peel carrots and cut into small batons. Place them in a single layer onto an ungreased baking sheet.
Drizzle olive oil over carrots and add salt and pepper to your taste.
Mix the carrots to coat them in the oil. Once coated, make sure they are in a single layer on the pan.
Drizzle hot honey and sprinkle cinnamon over the carrots.
- For a family of more than four, you might consider making two sheets of carrots.
- If you don't like spice, substitute the hot honey for regular honey. It is just as delicious and was actually the original way I made the recipe.
- Both rainbow carrots and regular carrots work well. No adjustments will be needed.
